Day 100 is Today!

We made a 100 Day headband and a necklace with 100 pieces of straws.  We did a variety of activities in 100 seconds, played "Snakes and Ladders" to 100 and measured using 100.  Thank you to all of the students who brought in their collection of "100"!  What a great effort! 

We participated in our school's "Winter Walk".  It was a crisp sunny morning and the fresh air and exercise was enjoyed by all.

We went to library today so your son / daughter should be bringing home a new library book to read with you this evening.

Today we reviewed the places that we can visit in our community of Martindale, our city of Calgary and our province of Alberta.  We also reviewed some of the things that are special about Canada (ie.  animals, coins, clothing, sports, people, etc.)  

Parents - Please ask your son / daughter to tell you what they have learned about Martindale, Calgary, Alberta and Canada.
