We went on a field trip to Heritage Park today!
This is what some of the children said about Heritage Park:
We went into Mr. and Mrs. Prince's house. We looked at many artifacts and saw mannequins that looked like the people that would have lived in that house long ago.
We saw chests in the bedroom. We think there might be clothes or toys in them.
We went into the Thorpe's house. We played with four different toys:
the acrobat, the ball and cup, the buzz saw and Jacob's ladder.
We ate Puff Wheat Squares that Mrs. Watson made.
They were delicious and we would love to have some more!
We played on the see saw and the swing in the school yard.
We got our picture taken in front of the school before we got back on the bus to come home.
